Using the RX-Stick in stand-alone mode

  1. Remove R37 from the board.
  2. Place a jumper between the R & G pins of the 4-pin header next to the joystick - these are the two pins closest to the joystick.
  3. Change the linker settings for your project to move the FIXEDVECT section to address 0xFFFFFFD0 (see picture under "Porting Code" above). Rebuild the project.
  4. Program the board using FDT: Set the crystal speed to 12 MHz, the multipliers to 8 and 4, and the baud rate to 115,200 kbps. Download the .MOT file to the board.
  5. Exit FDT, disconnect the RX-Stick, and move the MD1 jumper on the RX-Stick to the "H" position (it's next to the blue push button).
  6. When to board is reconnected it should run the code that was burned in with FDT.
