You can find the latest and greatest version of the HEW Tools and other software under the Software and Tools section at the Renesas website.

There are two add on boards for SKPs. The Comms and the Comms-Lite boards. The only hardware difference between the two is that the Comms-Lite does not come with an Ethernet MAC/PHY and a 256K SRAM stuffed where the Comms board does. HEW 4.x uses may experience a problem using the "Next Error" and "Next Warning" buttons in the output window following an FDT upgrade or HEW update. The function keys will still work, but there is a fix for the buttons:
