Memory area error. It overlaps the system range.

Hi,
I just received my HEW Target Design Kit, and installed it. However, I got "Memory area error. It overlaps the system range." error after step D2(Emulator Setting). Can anyone tell me how to resolve this bug?

I don't know what step D2 is, but I think you get this error message when you try to download your code to the target system.
The problem is that your code uses an address range, which the debug monitor software uses. To avoid this you have to relocate the monitor software. When you connect to the target system go to the Firmware Location tab and change the start address for the debugger firmware. Usually it is best to have the program at the beginning and the Work RAM at the end of the of the available memory.
