Does anyone know where I can find further info on the adpcm4_m16c.lib that was part of the HTSTutorial sample application? Documentation or source would be great, as I am trying to figure out how to create these type of audio files.

Source code isn't what you need.

You need a PC utility to convert or generate 4 bit mono ADPCM audio from a 16 bit mono PCM source. I think we use an 11khz sampling rate.

It appears you may be able to do this with Audacity using one of the supported WAV formats - but I have not tried it.

You may also want to contact your local Renesas rep to find out more about the ADPCM library, which has a PC conversion utility included in the package:

Hi

I tried converting  to adpcm 4bit mono 11khz on windows but it still doesnt work, do they have any specific software to generate adpcm files,if yes than please let us know from where to download it.
