Contest kit not received

Hi,

I have signed up for the HTS contest about a month ago, as of yet I still have not received the kit, I am in the USA. Have they run out of kits ? who do I contact for more information.

All contest kits have been shipped, but not  all requests were filled due to the sheer volume of requests. It's possible you were on the end of the shipping and you may see a kit in the next few days.

I didn't receive the kit, but, i think it is possible simulate that kit and WIN that contest anyway....

you know some way to simulate the kit? The Renesas stuff may be are very busy to attend us.

Sure, since the contest is about HEW Target Server and not so much the hardware, you can easily create a design without any actualy hardware. HEW, which includes HEW Target Server can be downloaded from the contest's download area at http://contest.renesasinteractive.com/Downloads.aspx. There are also links to download Microsoft's Visual Express which is needed for the PC side of things. (unless you're using full blown VS)  HEW contains simulators you can use with the MCU family you are targeting or you can use any other Renesas target board you may have. HTS can communicate with a simulation the same way it would talk to a real target MCU. You can also create something that runs with HEW itself and does not need hardware. Of course, that's up to you.
