I don't know if India charges tax for free samples, me i'm from Philippines and i didn't pay anything ;D

I'm delighted that you are interested in the contest and hope I can help with your question.  Renesas prepares our export documentation to clearly show that is a FREE SAMPLE and that the value of the sample is for Customs Purposes Only.  This information should mitigate any charges to you; however, because entry regulations are different is each country, we can not confirm if you will be required to pay a small fee.

 i am from kerala ,India , can you please inform when the  Demo Kit shipment to india will start. i reply to your mail on 15/2/08 agreeing the Export Regulations and till now no information.
