Power consumption of Starter Kit [R8c/23]

is it normal a power consumption of 200mA?

I think that is a high consumption of a Microcontroller, it could be some other peripherals.

200mA is much to high for a RSK. The power consumption is typically something in the range 20-30mA, may be around 40mA if you switch all LED on.

Are you measuring a system that includes the microcontroller and other peripherals? In the manual for each controller you can see the Min-Max ratings for power consumption requirements etc.
