Interrupt request bits of UART are always 1

Posted by Gal Shimoni at August 26. 2008

I am using UART1 of the RC8/25.

From Reset, Bits IR of S1TIC and S1RIC are 1.

Even when I enebale the interrupts, enter the interrupt routine, and read/write data, these bits never change to "0".

Please advise,

Gal

Do you use E8 or E8a for debugging? These use UART1 for communication. Then you cannot use this UART.
